Frequently Asked Questions
 - Where will my dog be walked?
A variety of field and woodland walks in the area. All walks are chosen based on their suitability for dog walking. Should you have any specific walking requirements for your dog, please let us know.
- Are you insured?
I am covered by a third party liability policy, as is anyone I employ. This policy does not provide cover for vet bills should your dog need medical assistance.
- Do you look after puppies?
I am unable to offer day care or home boarding for dogs younger than approximately 1 year. In addition I cannot board un-neutered dogs at any time.
- Can I drop my dog off on the way to Gatwick Airport?
As we are only 10 miles from Gatwick Airport and the airport parking facilities, we are ideally placed to drop your dog off on the way to the airport. Although further away, for those coming from the East, you may wish to drop off your dog on the way to Heathrow which is 47 miles away.
- Are you able to administer my dogs medication?
I am happy to administer tablets and other medicines, however please contact me to discuss what your dog requires, so that any advice from your vet may be sought.
- Where will my dog sleep?
Your dog will sleep in the house, downstairs. They can use their own bed or one provided. Should your dog have any specific sleeping requirements, please let us know.
- Where can I find Doggie Delights?
We are about a mile or so from the center of East Grinstead. Since East Grinstead is very close to Gatwick and the M23 and M25 it is ideally placed for those wishing to use the airports, International rail connections or ports.
- Can Doggie Delights look after any other animals?
We can arrange to visit cats, rabbits and other small domestic pets in order to put down feed, fresh water and change any bedding. Please contact me should you have any requests.
- How do I arrange for a dog walk, day care or dog boarding?
Please contact me so that we can firstly talk through what you require and arrange to meet so that we can learn about your dog and make any initial diary bookings. Many owners find leaving their dog with us for a day, using our Day Care service, prior to any boarding useful so that we can all get to know one another.
- What happens if I need to cancel a booking?
Should you need to cancel a dog walk or day care, please let me know as soon as possible. Any cancellation of a dog walk not cancelled prior to the time of the walk, will be charged at the normal hourly rate. The deposit of 30% is not refundable if your booking is cancelled within 10 days of your dog's holiday.
