Walking

Charges are per walk and per dog. Should you require your dog to have a shorter walk than the normal length of one hour the standard fee will still apply. Additional walks or extended walks may be provided on request, an additional fee would apply.

Owners must ensure that their dog has a collar and identity tag. Due to dogs being walked in small groups, all must be vaccinated in accordance with vet guidelines and be free from flees, ticks and lice.

Owners must advise of any characteristics which might make the dog unsuitable for group walks or short van journeys.

Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the owner in the event of an emergency. We also recommend owners provide us with a contact number of a trusted 3rd party for use should we be unable to make contact on the main number(s).

However, we reserve the right to make decisions regarding your dog’s health provided it is at all times in the best interests of the dog and on veterinary advice. Owners are responsible for payment of any veterinary fees incurred.

The dog’s owner accepts full liability for any loss or damage caused by the dog while being walked.

Should I be unable to gain access to your dog on a designated walk day, I will make immediate attempts to contact you to resolve the problem. You should be aware, that due to time constraints, I may not be able to delay the dog walk for an extended period.

Boarding

In addition to the above:

Charges are per day (not night) that a dog is resident. For example, a one week booking from Saturday to Saturday will count as an 8 day stay.

Owners need to supply the necessary food and any medication for the stay.

It is important that all characteristics are discussed as I cannot home board dogs that are not fully house trained, continent or are prone to excessive barking. In addition I am unable to offer day care or home boarding to puppies or un-neutered dogs. Should you believe your dog would not be happy sleeping with my dogs downstairs please advise me, as before proceeding we will need to arrange for a trial overnight stay.

All bookings require a 30% deposit to secure the dates. The remainder is payable at the time of the boarding. Deposits will not be refunded if cancelled within 10 days of the first date of the boarding.
Day care and boarding dogs can be dropped off or collected by the owners anytime between 8am and 6pm. Outside of these hours may be possible, but please advise me of your requirements at the time of the booking. I would ask that you contact me a few days before the first day of boarding to arrange the drop off time. Likewise, I would ask that you contact me by text or phone to advise me what time you would like to pick your dog up.
